I am a second generation drummer who grew up in East Texas. My father Grady Keenan introduced me to music and the drum kit in my very early years. Mimicking him I learned how to play simple drum patterns and developed my style and skill through hours of practice everyday and determination to play. At 16 years old I sold my first car to purchase a cymbal set and a keller maple shell drum pack with partial ludwig hardware from a local pawn shop. It was a patched set that provided years of service while I performed. As I matured in my craft I learned of many great drummers and have even gotten the chance to meet a few.
My influences are Morgan Rose, Thomas Lang, Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan, Johannes Greer, Paul Crosby, Chad Smith, Mike Portnoy and many others.
